The theorem states that, for every positive integer n and every subset K of ℝⁿ (functions Fin n → ℝ) that is compact, convex, centrally symmetric (x ∈ K implies −x ∈ K) and has nonempty interior, the product of the Lebesgue volume of K and the Lebesgue volume of its coordinate polar is at least 4ⁿ/n!. Here the coordinate polar of K is the set of vectors p such that the standard dot product ∑ᵢ pᵢvᵢ is at most 1 for every v in K. Volumes are taken as real numbers via the real-valued conversion of the Lebesgue measure. The result is admitted in the source without a proof.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
