Soundness of the slab envelope certificate. Let 32≤a≤p≤b≤5032\le a\le p\le b\le 5032≤a≤p≤b≤50, n>0n>0n>0 with a≤na\le na≤n, ℓ≥1\ell\ge 1ℓ≥1 with log⁡n≤ℓ\log n\le \elllogn≤ℓ and (ℓ−1)/32+1/a≤1/5(\ell-1)/32+1/a\le 1/5(ℓ−1)/32+1/a≤1/5, and 0<q≤2/50<q\le 2/50<q≤2/5. Suppose that for every x∈[1/b,1/a]x\in[1/b,1/a]x∈[1/b,1/a]

(1−q) DupG(a/n,x)<NloG(a/n,ℓ−1,1/a,x)⋅2 GloG(x).(1-q)\,\mathrm{DupG}(a/n,x)<\mathrm{NloG}(a/n,\ell-1,1/a,x)\cdot 2\,\mathrm{GloG}(x).(1−q)DupG(a/n,x)<NloG(a/n,ℓ−1,1/a,x)⋅2GloG(x).

Then scalarEnvelope(p,q)<Kp\mathrm{scalarEnvelope}(p,q)<K_pscalarEnvelope(p,q)<Kp, where KpK_pKp is the cyclic constant.

The hypothesis is a one-variable polynomial inequality on an interval, so each slab of exponents reduces to a finite polynomial check; the witness t=(a/(np))1/pt=(a/(n p))^{1/p}t=(a/(np))1/p is used for the cyclic ratio.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
