For a spectrally negative Lévy process and q>0 with a positive Esscher root φ satisfying ψ(φ)=q, there are a probability distribution ν of the actual Esscher perpetual reflected running infimum and a strictly positive scalar m such that the Laplace transform of ν at every β>0 is mβ/(ψ(φ+β)−q). The CDF of ν is exactly the infimum over finite Esscher-horizon survival expectations, as in the published canonical full-mass theorem. The scalar m is necessarily the tilted mean ψ′(φ) when that derivative is formalised. This is the crucial genuine stochastic Wiener–Hopf factorisation, not a consequence of the distribution’s total mass alone.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
