The central signed algebraic-symbol sum has the ordinary modular-symbol zero set

Period comparison converts the algebraic-symbol sum to a signed complex modular-symbol sum. For an even character, reindexing by a maps to -a and the selected central sign turn this signed sum into the ordinary modular-symbol sum without changing its zero set.

Deprecated: superseded during the definition-spine rewiring. Use HorizontalPadicL.even_algebraicSymbol_sum_ne_zero_iff_modularSymbol_sum_v2, which states the corrected result against the clean KN_SeededInverseThetaSystemV2 definition bundle.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
