Let nnn be a natural number, g,g^g,\hat gg,g^ coordinate metrics on Rn+1\mathbb R^{n+1}Rn+1, U⊆Rn+1U\subseteq\mathbb R^{n+1}U⊆Rn+1, and suppose VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U)\mathrm{VacuumCertificate}(g,\hat g,U)VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U). If g′,g^′g',\hat g'g′,g^′ are coordinate metrics with gij′=gijg'_{ij}=g_{ij}gij′=gij and g^ij′=g^ij\hat g'_{ij}=\hat g_{ij}g^ij′=g^ij pointwise on UUU for all i,ji,ji,j, then VacuumCertificate(g′,g^′,U)\mathrm{VacuumCertificate}(g',\hat g',U)VacuumCertificate(g′,g^′,U). VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U)\mathrm{VacuumCertificate}(g,\hat g,U)VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U) (bundle Atlas_Core_Certificate) is the conjunction of eight obligations: UUU is open and nonempty; gij(x)=gji(x)g_{ij}(x)=g_{ji}(x)gij(x)=gji(x) for x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; g^(x) g(x)=In+1\hat g(x)\,g(x)=I_{n+1}g^(x)g(x)=In+1 for every x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; every component of ggg and of g^\hat gg^ is C∞C^\inftyC∞ on UUU; at every x∈Ux\in Ux∈U there is an invertible matrix EEE with ETg(x)E=ηn=diag(−1,1,…,1)E^{\mathsf T}g(x)E=\eta_n=\mathrm{diag}(-1,1,\dots,1)ETg(x)E=ηn=diag(−1,1,…,1) with nnn entries +1+1+1 (Lorentzian signature); and all (n+1)2(n+1)^2(n+1)2 ordered components Rbd(x)R_{bd}(x)Rbd(x), b,d∈{0,…,n}b,d\in\{0,\dots,n\}b,d∈{0,…,n}, of the coordinate Ricci tensor built from ggg and g^\hat gg^ vanish for x∈Ux\in Ux∈U.

Lets a certificate proved for one presentation of the data be reused for another presentation equal on the domain (Minkowski spherical = Schwarzschild at M=0M=0M=0; standard Schwarzschild = Boyer–Lindquist Kerr at a=0a=0a=0). Since the Ricci tensor is built from slice derivatives, the agreement on the open set UUU suffices. This is equality-based transport on the same domain in total dimension n+1n+1n+1, not coordinate-covariance transport.

Formalization Note Dimension n+1n+1n+1; agreement is Set.EqOn on UUU for every component.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
