This is an L2L^2L2 stability estimate for stochastic integrals with bounded integrand factor.

Let PPP be a probability measure, WWW a Brownian motion, and F\mathcal FF a Brownian filtration for WWW. Let u,v,H:Ω×R→Ru,v,H:\Omega\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb Ru,v,H:Ω×R→R be such that both products uHuHuH and vHvHvH are measurable and progressively measurable, and each has finite squared extended integral on every interval [0,T][0,T][0,T] with T>0T>0T>0. Assume C≥0C\ge0C≥0 and ∣H(ω,s)∣≤C|H(\omega,s)|\le C∣H(ω,s)∣≤C, and let T>0T>0T>0.

Then

∫Ω∣∫0TusHs dWs−∫0TvsHs dWs∣2dP≤ofReal⁡(C2)∫Ω∫[0,T]∣us−vs∣2 ds dP.\int_\Omega\left|\int_0^T u_sH_s\,dW_s-\int_0^T v_sH_s\,dW_s\right|^2dP \le \operatorname{ofReal}(C^2) \int_\Omega\int_{[0,T]}|u_s-v_s|^2\,ds\,dP.∫Ω∫0TusHsdWs−∫0TvsHsdWs2dP≤ofReal(C2)∫Ω∫[0,T]∣us−vs∣2dsdP.

This estimate transfers an L2L^2L2 approximation of stochastic-integrand weights to an L2L^2L2 approximation of the corresponding stochastic integrals.

Formalization Note The integrals on the right are ENNReal integrals and the coefficient is embedded with ENNReal.ofReal; the stochastic integrals are stochasticIntegralBrownian.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
