The measurable countable-schedule upper clock equals the positive-denominator grid crossing infimum

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

For any real-valued path on nonnegative time, the first upper crossing clock formed as a countable infimum over the explicit schedule j↦k_j/(n_j+1), returning infinity on noncrossing samples, equals the subtype-indexed infimum over all positive-denominator rational grid crossing times. The equality is purely combinatorial and makes the Borel full-path reward schedule compatible with the Lévy right-continuous grid-crossing theorem.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
