This vendored technical lemma proves finiteness of a square-integrated energy under pointwise domination.

Let Ω\OmegaΩ be a measurable space with measure PPP, and let H1,H2,K:Ω×R→RH_1,H_2,K:\Omega\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb RH1,H2,K:Ω×R→R. Assume:

  1. For every (ω,s)(\omega,s)(ω,s),
∥K(ω,s)∥e2≤2(∥H1(ω,s)∥e2+∥H2(ω,s)∥e2).\|K(\omega,s)\|_e^2 \leq 2\left(\|H_1(\omega,s)\|_e^2+\|H_2(\omega,s)\|_e^2\right).∥K(ω,s)∥e2≤2(∥H1(ω,s)∥e2+∥H2(ω,s)∥e2).
  1. The uncurried functions H1H_1H1 and H2H_2H2 are measurable.
  2. For every T>0T>0T>0, the double ENNReal energy integrals of H1H_1H1 and H2H_2H2 over Ω×[0,T]\Omega\times[0,T]Ω×[0,T] are strictly below ∞\infty∞.

Then, for every T>0T>0T>0, the corresponding double energy integral of KKK is also strictly below ∞\infty∞:

∫Ω∫[0,T]∥K(ω,s)∥e2 ds dP(ω)<∞.\int_\Omega\int_{[0,T]} \|K(\omega,s)\|_e^2\,ds\,dP(\omega)<\infty.∫Ω∫[0,T]∥K(ω,s)∥e2dsdP(ω)<∞.

No probability-measure instance is required by the theorem. This is a technical integrability tool for Itô-integrand constructions.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
