Every surviving finite-horizon reflected reward is dominated by the killed record series

Proved

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

On every finite horizon strictly before the killing time, the discounted Stieltjes reward of the running supremum is bounded by the entire killed first-record discounted-payment series. Split into no record (proved zero stopped integral) and an attained last record (proved finite-horizon killed-series comparison). This removes the last-record index assumption from the pathwise stochastic renewal upper-bound argument.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
