For an adapted actual reflected spectrally negative Lévy process R, any countable deterministic observation schedule clock(n) bounded by horizon t, and any real level x, the event that R crosses or reaches x at one of those observation times is measurable in the filtration at t. Each observation event belongs to the sigma-algebra at its time by adaptedness, hence belongs to the sigma-algebra at t by filtration monotonicity, and the union is measurable. This provides the countable-grid event prerequisite for approximating genuine excursion-level first-passage times.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
