Let AAA be a finite convex-independent set in the Euclidean plane. If ∣A∣≥3|A|\ge 3∣A∣≥3, then AAA is not collinear. This packages the elementary fact that three collinear members would place one of them between the other two and hence inside the convex hull of the remaining points.

# `ConvexIndep` Finset helpers (Milestone 2)

Direct proofs from the extreme-point characterization
`EuclideanGeometry.ConvexIndep S ↔ ∀ a ∈ S, a ∉ convexHull ℝ (S \ {a})`:

* `ConvexIndep.mono` — `B ⊆ A → ConvexIndep A → ConvexIndep B`
* `ConvexIndep.erase` — `ConvexIndep A → ConvexIndep (A.erase x)`

These power the M4 descent step: erasing a removable vertex from a
counterexample preserves convex independence, and more generally any
subset of a convex-independent set is convex independent.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
