Let WWW be a Brownian motion, let FℱF be a filtration, and let G,KG,KG,K be simple predictable integrands with arbitrary horizons. Assume every coefficient of GGG and KKK is strongly measurable with respect to the filtration at its preceding partition time.

Then there exist a horizon T3T₃T3 and a simple predictable integrand QQQ on that horizon such that: (1) every coefficient of QQQ is adapted and strongly measurable; (2) for all s,ωs,ωs,ω, Q(s,ω)=G(s,ω)K(s,ω)Q(s,ω)=G(s,ω)K(s,ω)Q(s,ω)=G(s,ω)K(s,ω); and (3) for all t,ωt,ωt,ω,

integralAgainst(G,simpleIntegral(W,K),t,ω)=simpleIntegral(W,Q,t,ω).\texttt{integralAgainst}(G,\texttt{simpleIntegral}(W,K),t,ω)=\texttt{simpleIntegral}(W,Q,t,ω).integralAgainst(G,simpleIntegral(W,K),t,ω)=simpleIntegral(W,Q,t,ω).

The statement is existential because the common horizon and refinement are constructed from the two original horizons. It provides closure of simple predictable integrands under products.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
