This theorem identifies the fourth lintegral of an elementary Brownian integral with the ENNReal.ofReal of its ordinary fourth moment.

Let WWW be a Brownian motion, let GGG be a simple predictable integrand, and assume that every coefficient satisfies ∣ξi(ω)∣≤C|\xi_i(\omega)|\le C∣ξi(ω)∣≤C. Then

∫−∥simpleIntegral⁡(W,G,T,ω)∥4 dP=ENNReal.ofReal⁡ ⁣(∫simpleIntegral⁡(W,G,T,ω)4 dP).\int^- \left\|\operatorname{simpleIntegral}(W,G,T,\omega)\right\|^4\,dP =\operatorname{ENNReal.ofReal}\!\left(\int \operatorname{simpleIntegral}(W,G,T,\omega)^4\,dP\right).∫−∥simpleIntegral(W,G,T,ω)∥4dP=ENNReal.ofReal(∫simpleIntegral(W,G,T,ω)4dP).

The left-hand side uses the nonnegative extended-real norm and takes values in [0,∞][0,\infty][0,∞]; the right-hand side uses the real Lebesgue integral followed by ENNReal.ofReal. The result provides the bridge between ordinary moment estimates and lintegral estimates.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
