Finite selection of denominators meeting successive weight thresholds

Proved
OAI.PiExponent.select_separated_denominators

by Eyal1990 · Oct 14, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

If an arbitrary relation admits nonzero integer numerators and denominators at least two with unbounded logarithmic weights, select any prescribed finite number of such pairs. Each weight exceeds a common lower bound and a threshold depending only on previously selected weights. Finite recursive choice proves the assertion. For zero pairs both conclusions are vacuous; no positivity of the common lower bound or any monotonicity of the threshold function is needed.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
