Let n≥1n\ge1n≥1, 1≤M≤n1\le M\le n1≤M≤n, k+1≤nk+1\le nk+1≤n and QQQ with 2kQ=n2^kQ=n2kQ=n; write F=2n+1F=2^n+1F=2n+1 and K=2kK=2^kK=2k. Let DDD be a list of KKK canonical residues mod FFF. Assume DX holds DDD (first entry on top) over RXR_XRX, and the rulers 2k2^k2k on DL, 2n−k2^{n-k}2n−k on W2, 2n−12^{n-1}2n−1 on HB, 2M2^M2M on RM, 2Q2^Q2Q on RQ, 2n2^n2n on RN, FFF on RF. Let

(d,c)=carZ(M, liftL(n,k,Q,K,D), 0),(d, c) = \mathrm{carZ}\big(M,\ \mathrm{liftL}(n,k,Q,K,D),\ 0\big),(d,c)=carZ(M, liftL(n,k,Q,K,D), 0),

where liftL\mathrm{liftL}liftL maps DiD_iDi to (((Di2(K−i)Q mod F) 2n−k+2n−1) mod F)−2n−1\big(((D_i 2^{(K-i)Q} \bmod F)\,2^{n-k}+2^{n-1})\bmod F\big)-2^{n-1}(((Di2(K−i)QmodF)2n−k+2n−1)modF)−2n−1 (untwisting, division by KKK via 22n≡12^{2n}\equiv122n≡1, and lifting to the symmetric range), and carZ\mathrm{carZ}carZ propagates carries, producing digits di=(ei+ci) mod 2Md_i=(e_i+c_i)\bmod 2^Mdi=(ei+ci)mod2M and final carry ccc. Then fmPost runs from sss to the state where DX is RXR_XRX, the digits ddd are pushed on DG in reverse order (last on top) and ccc is pushed on CY, with cost at most

2k (60000(n+3)+30)+2000(n+3).2^k\,(60000(n+3)+30)+2000(n+3).2k(60000(n+3)+30)+2000(n+3).

Applied to the inverse FFT output, the lifted coefficients are exactly the negacyclic convolution of the input pieces (ss_lift); this step turns them into base-2M2^M2M digits for recombination.

Formalization Note. States are IState NS records with item stacks G : Fin NS → List Item (head = top), input pointer ip and output out; s.upd X L replaces stack X by L; ints A is the list of integer items of A. The named stacks (ARG, PRM, RN, RF, DX, DL, …) are fixed indices in Fin 32. IRuns I iprog p s s' c means that p executes from s to exactly s' with some cost c′≤cc' \le cc′≤c, so costs are upper bounds; the program text iprog and input I are arbitrary unless constrained.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
