Finite ruin has a last survived first-record grid cell or no initial record

When the reflected barrier ruins at a finite time, the proved eventual no-hit result ensures that either the first record level b is never crossed before ruin, or there is an index n whose record level is crossed before ruin but whose successor level is not. This identifies the exact terminal partial record cell required to complete the stopped pathwise renewal upper cover.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
