This gives boundedness and weak derivative data for entries of a constant two-sided matrix product.

Let d,n∈Nd,n\in\mathbb Nd,n∈N, let S∈Mn(R)S\in M_n(\mathbb R)S∈Mn(R) be constant, let H,DH:Rd→Mn(R)H,DH:\mathbb R^d\to M_n(\mathbb R)H,DH:Rd→Mn(R), let v∈Rdv\in\mathbb R^dv∈Rd, and let M∈RM\in\mathbb RM∈R. Assume every entry of HHH has weak derivative given by the corresponding entry of DHDHDH in direction vvv, every entry satisfies ∥Hab(x)∥≤M\|H_{ab}(x)\|\le M∥Hab(x)∥≤M, and every entry of DHDHDH is in L2L^2L2 on every compact restriction of volume measure.

For every i,j∈Fin⁡(n)i,j\in\operatorname{Fin}(n)i,j∈Fin(n), the entry of SH(x)SSH(x)SSH(x)S satisfies

∥(SH(x)S)ij∥≤∑a,b∥SiaSbj∥max⁡(M,0),\|(SH(x)S)_{ij}\|\le\sum_{a,b}\|S_{ia}S_{bj}\|\max(M,0),∥(SH(x)S)ij∥≤a,b∑∥SiaSbj∥max(M,0),

has weak derivative (SDH(x)S)ij(SDH(x)S)_{ij}(SDH(x)S)ij in direction vvv, and that derivative belongs to L2L^2L2 on every compact set. The declaration is bounded_weak_matrix_product_entry_readable and has no positivity, invertibility, or nonzero-dimension assumptions.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
