Let pD have body difBody pD. Let N,n,M,Q,k∈NN,n,M,Q,k\in\mathbb NN,n,M,Q,k∈N with n≥1n\ge1n≥1, 2kQ=n2^kQ=n2kQ=n, M≤nM\le nM≤n, Q≤nQ\le nQ≤n, k+1≤nk+1\le nk+1≤n; write F=2n+1F=2^n+1F=2n+1 and K=2kK=2^kK=2k. Let xxx be an integer with ∣x∣<2KM|x|<2^{KM}∣x∣<2KM and bit length at most NNN. Assume ARG has xxx on top (over LAL_ALA), DX =R=R=R, and the rulers 2k2^k2k on DL, 2M2^M2M on RM, 2Q2^Q2Q on RQ, 22Q2^{2Q}22Q on DE, 2n2^n2n on RN, FFF on RF. Then fmPrep pD runs from sss to the state where xxx is popped from ARG and

DX=difZ(F, 2Q, k, wtZ(F,Q,0,pcs(M,K,x)))+ ⁣ ⁣+R,\mathrm{DX} = \mathrm{difZ}\big(F,\,2Q,\,k,\,\mathrm{wtZ}(F,Q,0,\mathrm{pcs}(M,K,x))\big)\mathbin{+\!\!+}R,DX=difZ(F,2Q,k,wtZ(F,Q,0,pcs(M,K,x)))++R,

with cost at most prepCost(N,n,k)=difCost(n,k)+40000⋅2k(n+3)+1000(N+n+10)\mathrm{prepCost}(N,n,k)=\mathrm{difCost}(n,k)+40000\cdot2^k(n+3)+1000(N+n+10)prepCost(N,n,k)=difCost(n,k)+40000⋅2k(n+3)+1000(N+n+10).

Here pcs(M,K,x)\mathrm{pcs}(M,K,x)pcs(M,K,x) are the KKK signed MMM-bit pieces of xxx (least significant first), wtZ\mathrm{wtZ}wtZ twists the iii-th piece by 2iQ2^{iQ}2iQ mod FFF (with (2Q)K=2n≡−1(2^Q)^K=2^n\equiv-1(2Q)K=2n≡−1, which turns cyclic into negacyclic convolution), and difZ\mathrm{difZ}difZ is the forward decimation-in-frequency FFT with root 22Q2^{2Q}22Q. This is applied to each of the two factors.

Formalization Note. States are IState NS records with item stacks G : Fin NS → List Item (head = top), input pointer ip and output out; s.upd X L replaces stack X by L; ints A is the list of integer items of A. The named stacks (ARG, PRM, RN, RF, DX, DL, …) are fixed indices in Fin 32. IRuns I iprog p s s' c means that p executes from s to exactly s' with some cost c′≤cc' \le cc′≤c, so costs are upper bounds; the program text iprog and input I are arbitrary unless constrained.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
