On labels 1,2,3,41,2,3,41,2,3,4, represent the four block families 12∣3412\mid3412∣34, 1∣2∣3∣41\mid2\mid3\mid41∣2∣3∣4, 1∣2∣341\mid2\mid341∣2∣34, and 12∣3∣412\mid3\mid412∣3∣4. Their exact block indicators are IB(P)=1{B∈P}I_B(P)=\mathbf1_{\{B\in P\}}IB(P)=1{B∈P}, with values in Q\mathbb QQ. Uniform two-atom averages define the laws

μ+=12(δ12∣34+δ1∣2∣3∣4),μ−=12(δ1∣2∣34+δ12∣3∣4).\mu_+=\tfrac12(\delta_{12\mid34}+\delta_{1\mid2\mid3\mid4}),\qquad \mu_-=\tfrac12(\delta_{1\mid2\mid34}+\delta_{12\mid3\mid4}).μ+=21(δ12∣34+δ1∣2∣3∣4),μ−=21(δ1∣2∣34+δ12∣3∣4).

Write P⪯QP\preceq QP⪯Q when every block of PPP is contained in some block of QQQ, so refinement is directed from fine to coarse. A uniform two-atom coupling is a table K∈Q≥02×2K\in\mathbb Q_{\geq0}^{2\times2}K∈Q≥02×2 with every row and column sum equal to 1/21/21/2. This bundle fixes the explicit atoms, incidence scores, refinement relation, and coupling representation used by the correlation and non-coupling results. It does not assume a coupling supported on refinement exists. The implementation uses zero-based labels and retains the required decision instances.

# The four-label correlation obstruction

This file kernel-checks the signed square

`12|34 + 1|2|3|4 = 1|2|34 + 12|3|4`

at every block-incidence coordinate. The four atoms are represented by
their finite sets of blocks. `n4Atom_isPartition` verifies that each label
belongs to exactly one nonempty block, so this concrete representation does
not hide a partition-validity assumption.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
