Uniform bounds on all strict rational payment prefixes control the full stopped integral

Proved
AvramDividend.Classical.paymentTimes_lintegral_le_of_rational_prefix_bounds

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

A nonnegative Lebesgue integral over the exact stopped payment-time set is bounded by a constant if all rational left-closed time prefixes strictly below the killing time obey that constant. Proof uses the established rational-prefix exhaustion and Mathlib's directed union of set integrals. This permits finite surviving-horizon dividend record bounds to control the complete pre-ruin payout.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
