Let XXX be a finite set and μ\muμ a positive measure on 2X2^X2X. Then DμD^\muDμ satisfies

  1. Axiom 1′: for all acyclic orders ≿,≿0,⊵\succsim,\succsim_0,\trianglerighteq≿,≿0,⊵ with ≿→≿0↠⊵\succsim\to\succsim_0\twoheadrightarrow\trianglerighteq≿→≿0↠⊵,
Dμ(≿,⊵)=Dμ(≿,≿0)+Dμ(≿0,⊵);D^\mu(\succsim,\trianglerighteq)=D^\mu(\succsim,\succsim_0)+D^\mu(\succsim_0,\trianglerighteq);Dμ(≿,⊵)=Dμ(≿,≿0)+Dμ(≿0,⊵);
  1. Axiom 1: the same identity whenever ≿0\succsim_0≿0 is in-between ≿\succsim≿ and ⊵\trianglerighteq⊵.

This is the additivity half of the "if" direction of Theorem 3.1.

Formalization Note μ\muμ is given by point weights w≥0w\ge0w≥0. Acyclicity of ≿0\succsim_0≿0 is part of the one-step relation.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
