Let Λ∈R\Lambda\in\mathbb RΛ∈R, and let (ω,η)(\omega,\eta)(ω,η) be a smooth vacuum solution of the Flatly Foliated Relativity equations (34)–(35) on R3\mathbb R^3R3, with η>0\eta>0η>0, spherically symmetric outside a ball. For the radial profiles along the positive first coordinate axis, write a(r)=ω1(r,0,0)a(r)=\omega_1(r,0,0)a(r)=ω1(r,0,0) and e(r)=η(r,0,0)e(r)=\eta(r,0,0)e(r)=η(r,0,0). There exists R>0R>0R>0 such that, for every r>Rr>Rr>R,

ddr(ra(r)2)=Λr2e(r)2,a(r)e′(r)=0.\frac{d}{dr}\bigl(r a(r)^2\bigr)=\Lambda r^2e(r)^2, \qquad a(r)e'(r)=0.drd(ra(r)2)=Λr2e(r)2,a(r)e′(r)=0.

These identities give the exterior ordinary differential equations for every sign of the cosmological constant. They separate the geometric reduction from the one-dimensional analysis used in the nonexistence and classification of spherical vacuum solutions.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
