Let x,y,zx,y,zx,y,z be real numbers satisfying x+yz=1x+yz=1x+yz=1. Then

2x2+3y2+4z2≥2.2x^2+3y^2+4z^2\ge 2.2x2+3y2+4z2≥2.

Equality holds at x=1,y=z=0x=1,y=z=0x=1,y=z=0, so the lower bound is attained.

Formalization Note: This statement includes both the universal inequality and the equality point explicitly stated in the source. The original formalization contained only the inequality.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
