Suppose X=GG⊤X=GG^\topX=GG⊤ and every entry of XXX is zero or one. Then every row gig_igi of GGG is either the zero vector or a unit vector:

gi=0or∑k=1r(gi)k2=1.g_i=0\quad\text{or}\quad\sum_{k=1}^{r}(g_i)_k^2=1.gi=0ork=1∑r(gi)k2=1.

This identifies zero rows with potential outliers and constrains nonzero rows before the rotation to assignment coordinates.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
