matrix-multiplication

This is the numerical certificate for the unit-scale boundary dimension factor of the released global candidate, in entropy form, with the Stirling-type error made explicit.

Let D=1012D=10^{12}D=1012 be the released denominator, so that blocks(1)=D5=1060\mathrm{blocks}(1)=D^5=10^{60}blocks(1)=D5=1060. For each of the 144144144 boundary cells ccc (an owner o∈Fin 6o\in\mathrm{Fin}\,6o∈Fin6 together with a level-3 shape having a zero coordinate), let z(c,s)=z1(c,s)z(c,s)=z_1(c,s)z(c,s)=z1(c,s), for words sss of four letters in {0,1,2}\{0,1,2\}{0,1,2}, be the released unit-scale histogram of the cell in the mode following its zero mode. Let Nc=∑sz(c,s)N_c=\sum_s z(c,s)Nc=∑sz(c,s), and let ones(s)\mathrm{ones}(s)ones(s) be the number of letters of sss equal to 111. Write

Hc  =  Nclog⁡Nc−∑sz(c,s)log⁡z(c,s)\mathcal H_c\;=\;N_c\log N_c-\sum_s z(c,s)\log z(c,s)Hc=NclogNc−s∑z(c,s)logz(c,s)

for the mass entropy of the histogram (with 0log⁡0=00\log0=00log0=0).

Claim.

6D5⋅0.450512205  +  ∑c81 log⁡(6(Nc+1))  ≤  ∑c(Hc+log⁡5∑sz(c,s) ones(s)).6D^5\cdot 0.450512205\;+\;\sum_c 81\,\log\bigl(6(N_c+1)\bigr)\;\le\;\sum_c\Bigl(\mathcal H_c+\log 5\sum_s z(c,s)\,\mathrm{ones}(s)\Bigr).6D5⋅0.450512205+c∑81log(6(Nc+1))≤c∑(Hc+log5s∑z(c,s)ones(s)).

Numerical evidence. With the exact released integers (the largest NcN_cNc is about 1.25⋅10581.25\cdot10^{58}1.25⋅1058) and 90-digit arithmetic, the right side divided by 6D56D^56D5 is 0.45051220582308506909…0.45051220582308506909\ldots0.45051220582308506909…, the error sum on the left is about 1.53⋅1061.53\cdot10^{6}1.53⋅106, and the right side exceeds the left by 4.94⋅10514.94\cdot10^{51}4.94⋅1051, a relative margin of 1.83⋅10−91.83\cdot10^{-9}1.83⋅10−9.

Role. Together with the refmultinomial entropy lower bound applied to every cell (818181 is the number of words), this implies the refboundary unit factor bound 6D5⋅0.450512205≤log⁡B6D^5\cdot0.450512205\le\log B6D5⋅0.450512205≤logB. It contains no factorials: it only asks for explicit logarithms of explicit integers, which can be certified with rational log-series bounds such as refthe rational log series certificate and refrational entropy log bounds.

Formalization Note. z(c,s)z(c,s)z(c,s) is zCountAt 1 c s, i.e. the global weight times the joint row counts (wordCounts), and Hc\mathcal H_cHc is MME.RegionRate.massEntropy (fun s => (zCountAt 1 c s : ℝ)). For a cell with one zero grade both nonzero modes carry the same histogram up to the relabelling s↦2−ss\mapsto 2-ss↦2−s, which preserves ones\mathrm{ones}ones and the entropy; so the value does not depend on the choose in zMode.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
