Zero dividend mass until the extended first positive record time

Proved

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

avram-dividendfirst-passageinitial-zeropathwise-upperstopped-renewal

At every finite time strictly before the extended first positive record time, the running supremum is zero throughout the period and consequently its Stieltjes dividend measure gives the interval (0,t] zero mass. This remains valid if the first positive record never occurs and removes the finite-clock restriction from the no-initial-record branch of the stopped renewal upper estimate.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
