This is an auxiliary locality theorem for the Brownian Itô integral. Let WjW_jWj be a Brownian motion on a probability space (Ω,P)(\Omega,P)(Ω,P) with Brownian filtration F\mathcal FF. Let H1,H2:Ω×R→RH_1,H_2:\Omega\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb RH1,H2:Ω×R→R be jointly measurable and progressively measurable, and assume that for every T>0T>0T>0 their squared ENNReal⁡\operatorname{ENNReal}ENNReal norms are integrable over Ω×[0,T]\Omega\times[0,T]Ω×[0,T]:

∫Ω∫[0,T]∥Hr(ω,s)∥+2 ds dP<∞(r=1,2).\int_\Omega\int_{[0,T]}\|H_r(\omega,s)\|_+^2\,ds\,dP<\infty\qquad(r=1,2).∫Ω∫[0,T]∥Hr(ω,s)∥+2dsdP<∞(r=1,2).

If t>0t>0t>0 and H1(ω,s)=H2(ω,s)H_1(\omega,s)=H_2(\omega,s)H1(ω,s)=H2(ω,s) for PPP-almost every ω\omegaω and volume-almost every s∈[0,t]s\in[0,t]s∈[0,t], then

∫0tH1 dWj=∫0tH2 dWjfor P-almost every ω.\int_0^t H_1\,dW_j=\int_0^t H_2\,dW_j\quad\text{for }P\text{-almost every }\omega.∫0tH1dWj=∫0tH2dWjfor P-almost every ω.

The lemma records that the stochastic integral at time ttt depends only on the integrand up to product-null equality on [0,t][0,t][0,t].

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
