A sharp opposing-row fiber witness caps every segment summand

Suppose a feasible point x and two inequalities pointing in opposite directions along g witness a complete parallel-fiber width exactly τ. If the whole halfspace set is any Minkowski sum of an arbitrary residual P with a segment [0,sg], then s cannot exceed τ. Thus one sharp shortest-fiber witness globally caps every segment summand in that direction, independently of how the residual is chosen.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
