This formalizes the bounded-test extension of part of Lemma 2.4 of Letwin (arXiv:2607.24164v1).

Under the hypotheses of the weighted weak Hessian evolution, let u,W,Tu,W,Tu,W,T and the weak derivative data satisfy the same regularity, Monge–Ampère, compact-local L2L^2L2, inverse-Hessian ENNReal local L∞L^\inftyL∞, and a.e. trace assumptions as in integral_exp_neg_hessian_flux_eq_curvature_gram_readable. Let η\etaη be locally integrable and bounded by CCC, with compact support. For each coordinate bbb, assume aba_bab is a weak derivative of η\etaη in the bbb-th direction, is compactly supported, and belongs globally to L2L^2L2.

With

R=(∇2u)−1,Jijb=∑cRcbTcij,R=(\nabla^2u)^{-1},\quad J_{ijb}=\sum_cR_{cb}T_{cij},R=(∇2u)−1,Jijb=c∑RcbTcij,

and

Eij=−(∇2u)ij+(∇2u ∇2W(∇u) ∇2u)ij+tr⁡(RTiRTj),E_{ij}=-(\nabla^2u)_{ij} +(\nabla^2u\,\nabla^2W(\nabla u)\,\nabla^2u)_{ij} +\operatorname{tr}(RT_iRT_j),Eij=−(∇2u)ij+(∇2u∇2W(∇u)∇2u)ij+tr(RTiRTj),

then, for every i,ji,ji,j, the products e−uJijbabe^{-u}J_{ijb}a_be−uJijbab and e−uEijηe^{-u}E_{ij}\etae−uEijη are integrable and

∫e−u(x)∑bJijb(x)ab(x) dx=−∫e−u(x)Eij(x)η(x) dx.\int e^{-u(x)}\sum_bJ_{ijb}(x)a_b(x)\,dx =-\int e^{-u(x)}E_{ij}(x)\eta(x)\,dx.∫e−u(x)b∑Jijb(x)ab(x)dx=−∫e−u(x)Eij(x)η(x)dx.

This provides the rough-test form of the weighted evolution identity for later weak and cutoff arguments.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
