Let CCC be a good simplicial complex of dimension ddd over VVV that contains no empty square. Then for every proper coloring rrr of CCC,

dN(B(C,r))≤1.d_N\big(B(C, r)\big) \le 1 .dN(B(C,r))≤1.

This is the coloring-free version of Proposition 43: the absence of empty squares is a property of the complex alone, and it bounds the Natarajan dimension of every pseudo-cube the complex defines.

Formalization Note B(C,r)B(C,r)B(C,r) is a class over Fin (d + 1); the dimension is N∞\mathbb N_\inftyN∞-valued.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
