For q>0 and a positive Esscher root φ with ψ(φ)=q, the finite Borel measure representing the genuine infinite-horizon Esscher survival distribution has total mass one. Quantitatively the CDF of −inf X under the positive-root Esscher law is at least 1−exp(−φ b/2) at every b>0. The proof must transfer the already proved uniform finite-grid downcrossing inequality to all continuous times using right continuity, a countable dense schedule and an explicit terminal observation, then use projective consistency of Esscher finite-horizon laws and limit b→∞. No infinite-horizon tilted law or Wiener–Hopf transform is assumed.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
