Let SSS be a nonempty finite set of distinct irreducible integer polynomials, each with positive leading coefficient and positive degree. Assume the Schinzel condition: no prime divides their product at every integer. Put k=∣S∣k=|S|k=∣S∣ and D=∏f∈Sdeg⁡fD=\prod_{f\in S}\deg fD=∏f∈Sdegf. Suppose the increasing-prime Euler products converge to a positive number CCC. The integral form of the Bateman–Horn conjecture asserts

πS(x)∼CD∫2xdt(log⁡t)k(x→∞).\pi_S(x)\sim\frac{C}{D}\int_2^x\frac{dt}{(\log t)^k}\qquad(x\to\infty).πS(x)∼DC∫2x(logt)kdt(x→∞).

Here πS(x)\pi_S(x)πS(x) counts natural numbers n≤xn\le xn≤x for which all ∣f(n)∣|f(n)|∣f(n)∣ are prime. This is a conjectural assertion, not a known theorem: it retains the unresolved prime-distribution content of Bateman–Horn. Existence and positivity of CCC are hypotheses of this node and can be proved independently.

Formalization Note. The source counts positive inputs with positive prime values. Positive leading coefficients make all values positive for sufficiently large inputs, so the existing platform convention changes only finitely many counted inputs. The integral main term diverges, hence this finite change does not affect the asserted equivalence.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
