For every smooth real function fff on a 2-plectic space, its exact form is Hamiltonian and

vdf=0.v_{df}=0.vdf=0.

This gives the differential from smooth functions to Hamiltonian one-forms in the two-term complex.

Formalization Note The space is a finite-dimensional real normed space. The differential dfdfdf is ContWeatherall.grad, and the three-form ω\omegaω is named Ω in Lean.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
