Points of R4\mathbb R^4R4 are written x=(x0,x1,x2,x3)x=(x_0,x_1,x_2,x_3)x=(x0,x1,x2,x3); a coordinate metric is a 4×44\times44×4 matrix g=(gij)g=(g_{ij})g=(gij) of real functions of xxx, and a candidate inverse g^\hat gg^ is another such matrix. VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U)\mathrm{VacuumCertificate}(g,\hat g,U)VacuumCertificate(g,g^,U) (bundle Atlas_Core_Certificate) is the conjunction of eight obligations: UUU is open and nonempty; gij(x)=gji(x)g_{ij}(x)=g_{ji}(x)gij(x)=gji(x) for x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; g^(x) g(x)=I4\hat g(x)\,g(x)=I_4g^(x)g(x)=I4 for every x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; every component of ggg and of g^\hat gg^ is C∞C^\inftyC∞ on UUU; at every x∈Ux\in Ux∈U there is an invertible matrix EEE with ETg(x)E=diag(−1,1,1,1)E^{\mathsf T}g(x)E=\mathrm{diag}(-1,1,1,1)ETg(x)E=diag(−1,1,1,1) (Lorentzian signature); and all sixteen components Rbd(x)R_{bd}(x)Rbd(x), b,d∈{0,1,2,3}b,d\in\{0,1,2,3\}b,d∈{0,1,2,3}, of the coordinate Ricci tensor built from ggg and g^\hat gg^ vanish for x∈Ux\in Ux∈U. CoordRelation(g1,g2,U,V,Φ,Ψ,J)\mathrm{CoordRelation}(g_1,g_2,U,V,\Phi,\Psi,J)CoordRelation(g1,g2,U,V,Φ,Ψ,J) (bundle Atlas_Core_Relation) asserts: Ψ(Φ(x))=x\Psi(\Phi(x))=xΨ(Φ(x))=x for x∈Ux\in Ux∈U; Φ(Ψ(y))=y\Phi(\Psi(y))=yΦ(Ψ(y))=y for y∈Vy\in Vy∈V; Φ\PhiΦ maps UUU bijectively onto VVV; Φ\PhiΦ is C∞C^\inftyC∞ on UUU and Ψ\PsiΨ is C∞C^\inftyC∞ on VVV; for every x∈Ux\in Ux∈U and all indices k,ik,ik,i the slice u↦Φ(x[xi:=u])ku\mapsto\Phi(x[x_i:=u])_ku↦Φ(x[xi:=u])k has derivative J(x)kiJ(x)_{ki}J(x)ki at u=xiu=x_iu=xi (a genuine derivative, not a default value); and J(x)T g2(Φ(x)) J(x)=g1(x)J(x)^{\mathsf T}\,g_2(\Phi(x))\,J(x)=g_1(x)J(x)Tg2(Φ(x))J(x)=g1(x) for all x∈Ux\in Ux∈U. The theorem is the conjunction of eleven statements.

Four coordinate relations, each with its explicit map, inverse, overlap/image and Jacobian:

The goal theorem of the mission: a machine-checked coordinate-level atlas of the three basic vacuum solutions in seven standard forms on explicit open domains (no domain condition excludes the Schwarzschild interior 0<r<2M0<r<2M0<r<2M for M>0M>0M>0, either sign of Δ\DeltaΔ or negative rrr for Kerr, the regular-coordinate portion of r=2Mr=2Mr=2M with 0<θ<π0<\theta<\pi0<θ<π for M>0M>0M>0 (Eddington–Finkelstein), or the points with Δ=0\Delta=0Δ=0 at which Σ≠0\Sigma\neq0Σ=0 and sin⁡θ≠0\sin\theta\neq0sinθ=0 (ingoing Kerr); ExactVacuumAtlas.Release01.coverage exhibits points with r=2Mr=2Mr=2M, Δ<0\Delta<0Δ<0 and Δ=0\Delta=0Δ=0 under its sufficient parameter conditions, and it is not claimed that every parameter pair has points of each kind; the polar axis, angular identifications and global horizon geometry are not included), with the four changes of coordinates proved as explicit maps rather than existence statements. It only assembles the seven certificates and four relations proved as separate nodes. Not contained: any manifold, atlas-gluing, horizon, causal, maximal-extension or classification statement, any coordinate-covariance theorem for the coordinate Ricci tensor, or any relation to a manifold Ricci tensor of Mathlib (none exists in the pinned version).

Formalization Note Everything is coordinate-level on R4\mathbb R^4R4 (points are functions {0,1,2,3}→R\{0,1,2,3\}\to\mathbb R{0,1,2,3}→R): no manifold, chart gluing, periodicity of φ\varphiφ, horizon, causal or global statement is made. Partial derivatives are Mathlib's deriv of coordinate slices; the certificates' C∞C^\inftyC∞ obligations make every derivative used a genuine derivative. Units G=c=1G=c=1G=c=1, signature (−,+,+,+)(-,+,+,+)(−,+,+,+).

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
