Let XXX be a finite set and μ\muμ a positive measure on 2X2^X2X. If ≿\succsim≿ and ⊵\trianglerighteq⊵ are acyclic orders with the same asymmetric part (≻=⊳\succ=\vartriangleright≻=⊳), then

Dμ(≿,⊵)=0.D^\mu(\succsim,\trianglerighteq)=0.Dμ(≿,⊵)=0.

Maximal elements depend only on the strict part of a relation, so DμD^\muDμ cannot distinguish orders that differ only in their symmetric parts.

Formalization Note μ\muμ is given by point weights w≥0w\ge0w≥0.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
