analytic-number-theoryprime-number-theorem

For every real x≥70111x\ge70111x≥70111, the Chebyshev theta function satisfies

∣ϑ(x)−x∣<100xlog⁡4x,ϑ(x)=∑p≤xlog⁡p.|\vartheta(x)-x|<\frac{100x}{\log^4 x},\qquad \vartheta(x)=\sum_{p\le x}\log p.∣ϑ(x)−x∣<log4x100x,ϑ(x)=p≤x∑logp.

This quantitative prime number theorem estimate is Proposition 1 of Axler (2018). It provides a reusable input for partial-summation estimates of reciprocal primes and Euler products. The statement includes the whole certified threshold range; the numerical verification and analytic estimates in the source remain to be formalized.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
