Poincare.SmoothTest.Admissible μ f requires a globally C∞ real function f, membership in L²(μ), and integrability of the squared canonical gradient norm. SmoothTest.energy is the real integral of ‖∇f‖² with respect to μ, and SmoothTest.Holds μ C additionally requires μ to be a probability measure, C to be nonnegative, and the variance inequality to hold for every admissible test. SmoothTest.constant is the ENNReal infimum over finite NNReal constants satisfying Holds, with ⊤ representing the absence of a finite valid constant.

Global `ContDiff ℝ ∞` and finite canonical-gradient energy are explicit local choices;
the energy field prevents a nonintegrable real integral from being assigned zero. -/

nonnegativity are explicit; no source-domain or spectral-gap equivalence is asserted. -/

The infimum ranges over finite `NNReal` constants satisfying the local `Holds`; an empty
set of valid constants gives `⊤`. This definition does not identify a spectral gap. -/

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
