For a BV spectrally negative Lévy process with nonmonotone standing assumptions at a positive Esscher root, the drift-normalised discounted positive jump-tail mass is strictly between zero and one. Nonzero Lévy jumps and spectral support imply a nonzero Esscher magnitude measure without an atom at zero; the canonical positive-tail theorem gives strict positivity, and the existing Proved subunit theorem supplies the upper bound. This fills the strict 0<ρ condition in bv_ac_esscher_scaled_subunit_kernel_scale_identification, directly on the cstar finiteness route.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
