Let u∈C∖Q‾u \in \mathbb{C} \setminus \overline{\mathbb{Q}}u∈C∖Q and let s∈Q‾s \in \overline{\mathbb{Q}}s∈Q be real with s2=uuˉs^2 = u\bar us2=uuˉ (so uˉ=s2/u\bar u = s^2/uuˉ=s2/u; with v=u/sv = u/sv=u/s, conjugation acts as v↦1/vv \mapsto 1/vv↦1/v on coefficients). Put F=u3/s3+u2/s2F = u^3/s^3 + u^2/s^2F=u3/s3+u2/s2 and let W1W_1W1 be the Q‾\overline{\mathbb{Q}}Q-span of 1,u,uˉ,F,Fˉ1, u, \bar u, F, \bar F1,u,uˉ,F,Fˉ (in vvv: v−1,1,v,v3+v2,v−3+v−2v^{-1}, 1, v, v^3 + v^2, v^{-3} + v^{-2}v−1,1,v,v3+v2,v−3+v−2). Then there are no free x1,x2x_1, x_2x1,x2 and free y1,y2,y3y_1, y_2, y_3y1,y2,y3 with all six products in W1W_1W1 and x2/x1=(αu+β)/(γu+δ)x_2/x_1 = (\alpha u + \beta)/(\gamma u + \delta)x2/x1=(αu+β)/(γu+δ), α,β,γ,δ∈Q‾\alpha, \beta, \gamma, \delta \in \overline{\mathbb{Q}}α,β,γ,δ∈Q, αδ−βγ≠0\alpha\delta - \beta\gamma \neq 0αδ−βγ=0.

W1W_1W1 answers a question left open in R10: a conjugation-stable five-dimensional space containing H0=Q‾+Q‾u+Q‾uˉH_0 = \overline{\mathbb{Q}} + \overline{\mathbb{Q}}u + \overline{\mathbb{Q}}\bar uH0=Q+Qu+Quˉ can carry a configuration that Theorem B does not see without having a configuration factor of degree one, so it is not one of R11's real pencil spaces. Every real pencil space has a configuration of degree one (DiazModulus.conj_stable_real_pencil_space_carries_two_by_three_configuration), so W1W_1W1 is none of them.

Proof. Suppose x1(γu+δ)=x0(αu+β)x_1(\gamma u + \delta) = x_0(\alpha u + \beta)x1(γu+δ)=x0(αu+β) and all xiyj∈W1x_iy_j \in W_1xiyj∈W1. Put c=αx0−γx1c = \alpha x_0 - \gamma x_1c=αx0−γx1, non-zero because xxx is free and αδ−βγ≠0\alpha\delta - \beta\gamma \neq 0αδ−βγ=0. Then tj=cyj=αx0yj−γx1yj∈W1t_j = cy_j = \alpha x_0y_j - \gamma x_1y_j \in W_1tj=cyj=αx0yj−γx1yj∈W1 and utj=δx1yj−βx0yj∈W1ut_j = \delta x_1y_j - \beta x_0y_j \in W_1utj=δx1yj−βx0yj∈W1. But t,ut∈W1t, ut \in W_1t,ut∈W1 forces t∈Q‾+Q‾uˉt \in \overline{\mathbb{Q}} + \overline{\mathbb{Q}}\bar ut∈Q+Quˉ (comparing the coefficients of u⋅s3u3t=s3u3⋅utu\cdot s^3u^3t = s^3u^3\cdot utu⋅s3u3t=s3u3⋅ut, a polynomial identity of degree 777), and the three free tjt_jtj cannot lie in a two-dimensional space.

Novelty. Not found in the sources read; it is short.
