Let TnT_nTn be the n×nn\times nn×n complete upper-triangular graph. The expected matching size of RANDOM on TnT_nTn is n(1−1/e)+o(n)n(1-1/e)+o(n)n(1−1/e)+o(n), in the two-sided sense

lim⁡n→∞VTn(n,∅)n=1−e−1.\lim_{n\to\infty}\frac{V_{T_n}(n,\varnothing)}{n}=1-e^{-1}.n→∞limnVTn(n,∅)=1−e−1.

This supplies the asymptotic value used in Theorem 2.

Formalization Note The paper writes o(n)o(n)o(n) without a numerical rate. The value at n=0n=0n=0 is defined by Lean's total division but does not affect the limit.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
