Let III and JJJ be finite sets. Let wi≥0w_i\ge0wi≥0 (i∈I)(i\in I)(i∈I), let qj0≥0q^0_j\ge0qj0≥0 and gj≥0g_j\ge0gj≥0 (j∈J)(j\in J)(j∈J), let qij,mij∈Rq_{ij},m_{ij}\in\mathbb{R}qij,mij∈R, let C≥0C\ge0C≥0 and κ∈[0,1]\kappa\in[0,1]κ∈[0,1]. Assume for every j∈Jj\in Jj∈J

(1−κ) gj2≤2∑iwi mij2andqj0≤∑iwi qij2+(1−κ)κ  gj C.(1-\kappa)\,g_j^2\le2\sum_{i}w_i\,m_{ij}^2\qquad\text{and}\qquad q^0_j\le\sqrt{\sum_iw_i\,q_{ij}^2}+\sqrt{(1-\kappa)\kappa}\;g_j\,C .(1−κ)gj2≤2i∑wimij2andqj0≤i∑wiqij2+(1−κ)κgjC.

Then

∑j(qj0)2≤∑iwi∑jqij2+2κ  C ∑iwi∑jmij2.\sqrt{\sum_{j}(q^0_j)^2}\le\sqrt{\sum_iw_i\sum_jq_{ij}^2}+\sqrt{2\kappa}\;C\,\sqrt{\sum_iw_i\sum_jm_{ij}^2}.j∑(qj0)2≤i∑wij∑qij2+2κCi∑wij∑mij2.

Here jjj indexes modes: per-mode bounds for an output defect qj0q^0_jqj0 in terms of input defects qijq_{ij}qij, plus a mixing error controlled by auxiliary quantities mijm_{ij}mij, are combined into a single bound for the total (ℓ2\ell^2ℓ2 over modes) defect.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
