An interior codimension-one grid simplex lies in exactly two full simplices

In a Sperner cube of dimension n=n1+1n=n_1+1n=n1+1, let III be a grid n1n_1n1-simplex such that no coordinate is constant along its vertices. Then exactly two grid nnn-simplices have III as a face.

It is the interior case of the parity count in Kuhn's cubical Sperner lemma.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
