matrix-multiplication

This is the hashed construction at a chosen reference, in the form of a level-3 stage followed by a level-2 continuation, with the rate budget split between them.

Fix the released global data, with D=1012D=10^{12}D=1012 and blocks(K)=D5K\mathrm{blocks}(K)=D^5Kblocks(K)=D5K; write n=6 blocks(k2)n=6\,\mathrm{blocks}(k^2)n=6blocks(k2). For a scale KKK and a family a=(ao)o∈Fin 6a=(a_o)_{o\in\mathrm{Fin}\,6}a=(ao)o∈Fin6 of released global references at scale KKK, let NK(a)N_K(a)NK(a) be the number of hashed (positive) positions, and let QK(a,e)\mathcal Q_K(a,e)QK(a,e) be the hashed source predicate QPos with tolerance eee for all six owners.

Claim. For every eee with 0<e≤10<e\le10<e≤1 there is C∈NC\in\mathbb NC∈N such that for every k0k_0k0 there is k≥k0k\ge k_0k≥k0 with the following property. If k>0k>0k>0, then there are a reference family aaa at scale K=k2K=k^2K=k2 and

  • a partition of the NK(a)N_K(a)NK(a) positions into six parts j∈Fin 6j\in\mathrm{Fin}\,6j∈Fin6 of sizes sjs_jsj,
  • part predicates Sj,TjS_j,T_jSj,Tj on words of length sjs_jsj and a predicate QQQ on words of length NK(a)N_K(a)NK(a), such that the six sources SjS_jSj jointly imply QK(a,e)\mathcal Q_K(a,e)QK(a,e) and QQQ implies every target TjT_jTj (each on its part's positions),
  • graded part stages DjD_jDj from SjS_jSj to TjT_jTj with lower level 222,
  • a graded logarithmic joint recipe R′R'R′ of level 222 with source QQQ,

satisfying

  1. 1≤types(Dj)≤(k+1)C1\le\mathrm{types}(D_j)\le(k+1)^C1≤types(Dj)≤(k+1)C for each jjj;
  2. n⋅0.7363871≤∑jrate(Dj)n\cdot 0.7363871\le\sum_j \mathrm{rate}(D_j)n⋅0.7363871≤∑jrate(Dj);
  3. 1≤inputs(R′)≤(k+1)C1\le\mathrm{inputs}(R')\le(k+1)^C1≤inputs(R′)≤(k+1)C and 1≤R′.a R′.b R′.c1\le R'.a\,R'.b\,R'.c1≤R′.aR′.bR′.c;
  4. n⋅0.5859676≤logOutputs(R′)n\cdot 0.5859676\le\mathrm{logOutputs}(R')n⋅0.5859676≤logOutputs(R′);
  5. n⋅5.83785872051≤log⁡(R′.a R′.b R′.c)n\cdot 5.83785872051\le\log(R'.a\,R'.b\,R'.c)n⋅5.83785872051≤log(R′.aR′.bR′.c).

Role. This is the level-3/level-2 split of refthe hashed construction with an explicit dimension target, following the plan in the mission comments: part jjj is the band-part stage (or the square-scale tolerance stage) for orientation/region jjj, and R′R'R′ is the level-2 continuation (zero-half boundary, the single-type level-2 step, level-1 boundary). The stage's rate share 0.73638710.73638710.7363871 is below ∑ρcρ=0.73638718416\sum_\rho c_\rho=0.73638718416∑ρcρ=0.73638718416 per nnn, the sum of the six proved region rate margins cρ⋅6⋅1048<regionalRateρc_\rho\cdot 6\cdot10^{48}<\mathrm{regionalRate}_\rhocρ⋅6⋅1048<regionalRateρ (with cρ⋅10−12c_\rho\cdot10^{-12}cρ⋅10−12 per nnn). The continuation's share 0.58596760.58596760.5859676 is below the level-2 margin 0.5859676703170.5859676703170.585967670317 per nnn. The two shares add to exactly the required 1.32235471.32235471.3223547. All dimensions come from the continuation, since a stage does not change dimensions.

Formalization Note. The parts are given by positions : ((j : Fin 6) × Fin (size j)) ≃ Fin (partSize (k^2) a 1), the stages are LogPartStageG (size j) 2 (S j) (T j), and the continuation is LogJointRecipeG (partSize (k^2) a 1) 2 Q. The degree CCC is chosen after eee and before k0k_0k0; the reference family and all stage data are chosen after kkk.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
