Integral representation of the B.3 series

Proved
ErlerGross.B3_series_double_integral

by Eyal1990 · Sep 26, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

For the sequence of terms in Erler and Gross equation (B.3), its sum is negative one half of a double integral over the unit square with integrand (1−y)/(1−x2y3)(1-y)/(1-x^2y^3)(1−y)/(1−x2y3). The geometric series in the denominator gives this integral representation.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
