Let n be any natural number, U, V ⊆ ℝⁿ, Φ : ℝⁿ → ℝⁿ, J, K matrix-valued maps and g, ĝ, h, ĥ coordinate metrics. Assume CoordChange U V Φ J K and MetricData h ĥ V, and the two pull-back identities g(y) = J(y)ᵀ h(Φ y) J(y) and ĝ(y) = K(y) ĥ(Φ y) K(y)ᵀ for every y ∈ U. Then for every y ∈ U and all indices i, j: Ric(g,ĝ){ij}(y) = Σ_a Σ_b J(y){ai} J(y){bj} Ric(h,ĥ){ab}(Φ y). CoordChange U V Φ J K (bundle Atlas_Transport_Connection, new) is the conjunction of six obligations: U open; V open; Φ C^∞ on U; Φ maps U into V; J(y)_{ki} is the genuine slice derivative of Φ_k in the i-th coordinate at every y ∈ U; and J(y)·K(y) = I for every y ∈ U. MetricData h ĥ V (same bundle) is the conjunction of five obligations: V open; h symmetric on V; ĥ(x)·h(x) = I on V; h C^∞ on V; ĥ C^∞ on V — no curvature condition. Ric is the registered coordinate Ricci tensor of release I (ricciOf, bundle Atlas_Core_Basic), not redefined.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
