fff commutes with III (Markman, arXiv:2502.03415, §2.4, p. 20; a consequence of Lemma 2.2.6).

Let XXX be a complex torus of dimension nnn with complex structure JJJ (J2=−1J^2=-1J2=−1), let d>0d>0d>0 be rational and −d=id\sqrt{-d}=i\sqrt d−d=id. Let a,ba,ba,b lie in the Hodge ring ⨁pHp,p(X,Q)\bigoplus_pH^{p,p}(X,\mathbb{Q})⨁pHp,p(X,Q), suppose that λ1,2=a±−d b\lambda_{1,2}=a\pm\sqrt{-d}\,bλ1,2=a±−db are even pure spinors with W1∩W2=0W_1\cap W_2=0W1∩W2=0, and let fff be a rational endomorphism of VQV_{\mathbb{Q}}VQ acting by −d\sqrt{-d}−d on W1W_1W1 and by −−d-\sqrt{-d}−−d on W2W_2W2. Then

f∘I=I∘f,f\circ I=I\circ f,f∘I=I∘f,

where I=J⊕(−JT)I=J\oplus(-J^{\mathsf T})I=J⊕(−JT) is the complex structure of VR=H1(X×X^,R)V_{\mathbb{R}}=H^1(X\times\hat X,\mathbb{R})VR=H1(X×X^,R).

Consequently fff respects the complex structure of the torus X×X^X\times\hat XX×X^, so η(−d)=f\eta(\sqrt{-d})=fη(−d)=f embeds KKK into End⁡Q(X×X^)\operatorname{End}_{\mathbb{Q}}(X\times\hat X)EndQ(X×X^).

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
