A surviving later killed record implies survival of every preceding adjacent record

Proved
AvramDividend.Classical.killed_firstRecord_grid_survival_nested

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

For a nonnegative record spacing ε and any index n, if the strict upward passage of (n+2)ε occurs before actual reflected ruin at barrier a, then the passage of (n+1)ε occurs before that same ruin time. Use the already Proved order monotonicity of official strict first-upcrossing clocks and the adjacent grid level inequality. This exact event inclusion is needed for strong-Markov conditioning of the first-record renewal step.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
