Let PPP be a finite set of natural-number coordinates and let βp∈N\beta_p\in\mathbb Nβp∈N. For each p∈Pp\in Pp∈P, reserve βp\beta_pβp positive and βp\beta_pβp negative slots. Each slot has two finite states of positive integer factors; replacing state zero by state one changes its prime-valuation vector by +ep+e_p+ep or −ep-e_p−ep, according to the slot's sign.

Assume every state lies in a fixed legal set, avoids a fixed forbidden set, and is disjoint from every state of every other slot. For any integer vector zzz with ∣zp∣≤βp|z_p|\le\beta_p∣zp∣≤βp, there are prefix counts up,vpu_p,v_pup,vp with up+vp≤βpu_p+v_p\le\beta_pup+vp≤βp such that the corresponding chosen-state union BBB is legal, avoids the forbidden set, and satisfies

vq ⁣(∏B)=vq ⁣(∏B0)+{zqq∈P,0q∉P.v_q\!\left(\prod B\right)=v_q\!\left(\prod B_0\right)+\begin{cases}z_q&q\in P,\\0&q\notin P.\end{cases}vq(∏B)=vq(∏B0)+{zq0q∈P,q∈/P.

Here B0B_0B0 is the union of all zero states; unused slots retain that state. This proves the finite universality of a reserved bank once its literal factor states and joint guards have been constructed.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
