Let AAA be finite, M>0M>0M>0, and ai∈{1,…,M}a_i\in\{1,\ldots,M\}ai∈{1,…,M}. Let Xi,xi∈RX_i,x_i\in\mathbb RXi,xi∈R. Suppose every prime-power divisibility column has discrepancy at most 4d4d4d. Then for every prime ppp,

∣∑i∈A(Xi−xi)vp(ai)∣≤4d⌊log⁡pM⌋.\left|\sum_{i\in A}(X_i-x_i)v_p(a_i)\right|\le4d\lfloor\log_p M\rfloor.i∈A∑(Xi−xi)vp(ai)≤4d⌊logpM⌋.

This converts the finite incidence discrepancy estimate into the valuation-error budget used by the correction bank. The conclusion holds for arbitrary real vectors satisfying the column bound.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
