The strict Lévy lower-passage infimum equals its countable inverse-natural grid counterpart

by WillR · Oct 25, 2026 · Mathlib 0df444a (Lean v4.33.1)

For any sample path of an official spectrally negative Lévy process and any lower threshold, the extended first strict downward passage time calculated by infimum over all crossing times equals the infimum over the countably many inverse-natural grid times k/n, n positive. Right-continuity yields finite-horizon grid detection; the accepted generic first-passage infimum extensionality transfers detection to clock equality.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
